Brief -
Bubble Hope is a dessert bar selling bubble teas and sweet corn dogs. The business needed a strong brand identity and packaging design to -
Attract their target audience (children to young adults), looking to indulge in desserts and bubble tea.
Convey their goals (Showcase the fusion of Taiwanese Boba tea and Viennese desserts through a playful and colorful brand identity).
Solution -
The goal was to develop a strong brand for a business in the tea industry. It was important to understand and convey their goals and vision with strong messaging through the design of logo and brand elements (i.e.- the packaging).
——->
The color palette was partially inspired by the Taiwanese and Viennese flag colors. The blue conveys trust and acceptance and helps balance out the other two color selections which are - orange (conveys happiness, youth and warmth), and yellow (conveys brightness, cheerfulness and stimulates appetite).
The logo and variations are created so that it can be used across all marketing programs; the variations allow it to be used in different spaces while strongly tying to the brand’s identity.
The fonts chosen were sans serif fonts - Grandstander is a display font to be used for headings and it conveys a playful and friendly feel, Poppins is a sans serif font to be used for paragraphs - it is clear and easy to read on all marketing materials.
Packaging & Stationery Design
The consistent and intentional use of brand colors, logo and patterns in all the different types of packaging help create a strong brand identity and memorability.
